  • Take Hwy 40 East approximately 8 miles out of Ocala.
  • The entrance to the park is on the right (south) side just before the bridge over the Ocklawaha River.
This park is the access point for parts of the Ocklawaha River, the Silver River, and Silver Springs.
 
 
Silver River State Park
N 29 12' 01", W 82 02' 04"  (20 minutes)  (parking lot)
 
  • Take SR 40 east (5.7m) to SR 35 (Baseline Rd)
  • Turn right (south) and continue on SR 35 for 1.2m
  • Turn left (east) into the State Park. Past Gatehouse to parking lot.
 
Fee Area.
 
Access from the parking lot to the launch site is off of a dirt trail approx. 1/2 mile so good, fat wheels are suggested.
