  • Take SR 40 east 11 miles (over the bridge) to the traffic light at CR 314.
  • Turn left (north) on CR 314 for 8.4 miles. 
  • Turn right (south) on the 1st paved road on the right (about 1/2 mile) after CR 314A intersection,  and after the small bridge over Eaton Creek, it is NE 170 Ave. 
  • There should also be a permanent sign "Ocala Conservation Center and Youth Camp". 
  • Stay on NE 170 Av to camp (0.9m). 

The address is 7325 NE 170th Ave. 



This camp, managed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, has made available to the club, the 2nd weekend in December for our annual Christmas party. 


Our club has selected this camp for several years as the beneficiary of our Paddlers Poker Run. 


We have also participated in several weekend youth programs for kids, to facilitate their knowledge of paddling.
The Camp - while the beneficiary of the the 2011 Poker Run also assisted us through use of canopies, barriers, assisting on the shuttles, and  providing the lemonade
This money will assist in the paddling program at the camp - where at kids summer camp and during events throughout the year kids as well as adults learn about the fun and adventure of paddling canoes and kayaks.
