Hillsborough River (Sargeant Park)
Take I-75 south from Ocala about 86 miles to exit 265.
Go east on Hwy 582 (E. Fowler Ave) (2.3 m) to US 301.
Go north (left) on US 301 (3.5 miles) to the John B. Sargeant, SR Memorial Park which will be on your left (north).
Hillsborough River (Morris Bridge Park)
Take I-75 south from Ocala about 85 miles to exit 266, Fletcher Ave/CR 582A.
Keep left at fork - look for signs for Morris Bridge Rd.
Turn left at Morris Bridge Road (0.9 m).
Remain on Morris Bridge Rd for 3.9 mile to park entrance on each side of the road. If you drive over the bridge - too too far.
Turn left to launch boat at ramp/bathrooms or turn right to go to where we eat.
Hillsborough River (Trout Park)
Take I-75 south from Ocala about 85 miles to exit 266, Fletcher Ave/CR 582A.
Keep left at fork - look for signs for Morris Bridge Rd.
Turn left at Morris Bridge Road (0.9 m).
Turn left onto Flatwoods Park Trail (1.3 m) to Trout Park.
Lettuce Lake Park
Take I-75 south from Ocala about 85 miles to exit 266, Fletcher Ave/CR 582A.
Turn right (west) on CR 582. Go 1.3 miles
Turn Right (north) at Lettuce Lake Parkway.
Follow signs to parking area.
Bring wheels to ferry boat from parking area to ramp.
This park has a boardwalk along the river/lake with a tower to view water and wildlife. Other trails to hike or bike.
