Econ River (Hwy 419) (Econlockhatchee River)
Take Hwy 40 East to right on Hwy 17 South. Hwy 17 South right on Hwy 15A. Hwy 15A to right on Hwy 17/92.
Hwy 17/92 to right on Hwy 472 East.
Hwy 472 East to right on I-4 West.
I-4 West to Seminole Expressway (417S) Seminole Expressway is a toll road, expect a minimum $2 toll.
Go south on the Seminole Expressway/417S to left on Hwy 434/419.
Take Hwy 434/419 to left on Hwy419/East Broadway.
Go approx 2 miles, cross over Econlockhatchee Bridge.
Put-in is on the left (north) side of bridge (Willingham Rd).
Parking is very limited at put-in and car pooling is recommended. Wheels/carts for boats are very useful here as it is a hundred yards from vehicle to water.
(Downstream to Snowhill Road)
Econ River (Snowhill Rd) (Econlockhatchee River)
From Ocala - SR 40 east for 46 miles.
Turn left (south) onto US 17/SR 15 - 33 miles.
Turn left (east) on SR 46/W 25th St/Paola Rd for 11 miles.
Turn right(south) onto CR 426 (0.8m).
Turn left at fork onto CR 13/Snowhill Road - 3 miles.
Ramp is on south west side of bridge, is dirt and steep.
(Downstream to CS Lee County Park on St Johns)
From Willmingham Rd - above: From CR 419 & Willingham Rd parking lot, turn left (east) onto CR 419 for 2 miles. Turn left (traffic light) (north) onto Snowhill Road for 3.3 miles. Turn right just before the bridge, drive under bridge and around to unload /load boats. Ramp is dirt & steep.
St Johns River (CS Lee County Park)
From Ocala - SR 40 east for 46 miles. Turn left (south) onto US 17/SR 15 - 33 miles.
Turn left (east) on SR 46/W 25th St/Paola Rd for 33.1 miles.
Turn left (north) at CS Lee Park sign, just before going over bridge. Jolly Gator Fish Camp is also here.
From Snowhill road: Go north over the bridge on Snowhill Road - 2.5 miles. Turn right (east) onto Old Mims Road - 2.0 miles. Turn left (north) on Jungle Rd. - 0.4miles. Turn right (east) on SR 46 - 2.8 miles. Turn left (north) into CS Lee Park (before crossing bridge).
