Crystal River
Crystal River (Hunter Park)

Take Hwy 40 west about 20 miles to US41.
Turn left (south) on US 41 and go about 4 miles through Dunnellon and over the Withlacoochee River Bridge to the traffic light at Hwy 488.
Turn right (west) on Hwy 488.
Go about 6 miles to the traffic light at Hwy 495.
Turn left (south) on Hwy 495. Follow Hwy 495 about 7 miles into Crystal River to US 19.
Cross US 19 and continue straight into park.

Crystal River (Fort Island Trail)

N 28 54' 38", W 82 41' 30" (1 1/2 hours)

Take SR 40 west about 20 miles to US 41.
Turn left (south) on US 41 and go about 4 miles through Dunnellon and over the Withlacoochee River Bridge to the traffic light at Hwy 488.
Turn right (west) on Hwy 488.
Go about 6 miles to the traffic light at Hwy 495.
Turn left (south) on Hwy 495. 
Follow Hwy 495 about 7 miles into Crystal River to US 19.
Turn left (south) on US 19. Go about 2 miles to Ft Island Trail Road (SR 44).
Turn right (west) on Ft Island Trail Road.
The Launch site is about 8 miles at the end of the road.
