Take SR 40 East from Ocala approx 66 miles to I-95 South.

Follow I-95 South 18.8 miles to Exit 249A.

Merge onto SR-44 (east)(Canal St).

Stay on SR-44 (east)(Canal St) 4.3 miles to SR-A1A.

Continue south on SR-A1A to 2.2 miles to CR-A1A.

Bear right (south) on CR-A1A 5 miles to Canaveral National Seashore.

After paying admission at gate, continue south to the launch site (first boat ramp on the right).

Parking for vehicles with trailers is at the ramp, others will have to park across the road on the beach side.
Merritt Island NWR (Haulover Canal)

From Ocala travel approximately 60 miles on Hwy 40

Take I-95 south for 23 Miles to exit 244, FL Hwy 442 / Indian River Blvd.

Turn left and travel 3.7 miles to US Hwy 1.

Turn right (south) on US 1 and travel 10.25 miles.

You will see a large brown sign for the Wildlife Refuge.

Immediately after this sign will be Kennedy Parkway, US 3, on your left. Take this road approximately 8 miles to last dirt on the right before the Haulover Canal Draw Bridge.

Travel to the end of road, at the put in.
