Explored a new potential Club paddle on Saturday.  Most of the time we only see Yankeetown on our way to Bennet’s Creek or Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve.  This is a new and different view, check out the pictures below.  The trip was quite long, 4.7 miles one way from the launch ramp to the Inglis Lock Spillway.  Most of the pictures below are from the first 3 miles of the trip and this is the segment I would recommend for most paddlers, it takes you to about the Highway 19 overpass.

Each bend of the river provided a new and interesting view of Yankeetown.  One I never would have suspected just driving through the outside of the city.
