Crystal River

Today we launched from the Hunter Springs Park for our trip on the Crystal River. It was a warm sunny morning as we started out. Later in the day it became windy but the wind felt so good. We investigated some of the canals along the river. We went up to 3 Sisters Springs and did get to see a few manatee. We went out into the bay and saw some birds, turtles and a dolphin. There was also something fast moving under the water that just missed Wayne's boat. We had a nice paddle today that ended with our return to Hunter Springs Park. Some of us went to Crackers for a nice lunch. I hope to see you on the river soon... Sandie
