Juniper Run

The day began extremely foggy but cleared as soon as the sun began to shine.  We gathered at Juniper Springs Rec. Area and unloaded our kayaks.  Next came the shuttle.  When all the members returned from the shuttle we took a quick tour of the park on foot.  Although I'd been there before I never took the time to take pictures of it's beauty, today I did.  Chris took a plunge into the cold water of the spring.

We launched and began our journey along the narrow windy river.  There were several obstacles we had to overcome but it was fun.  We rescued  someone who had overturned her canoe and it had filled with water.  We ended our trip at Juniper Wayside where we loaded our boats for the return trip to Juniper Springs Rec. Area.  Once at the Rec. area we unloaded and reloaded boats.  This was another great trip along Florida's beautiful waterways.   Sandie
