Chassahawitzka River

We launched today from the Chassahowitzka River Campground at 9:00am.  The Chassahawitzka River is astonishingly beautiful at every turn.  Its easy to become absorbed in the natural surroundings.  We visited some of the springs after paddling through narrow passage ways leading to them.  Some members took a plunge and swung from a rope swing reminding me of child play.  What a delight to watch them revisit their youth but for a few brief moments.  The weather was perfect and the water refreshing.  We hope to see all of you out on the water soon.  The time is always right.
