Today the TC was Wayne Tyo. We began with the shuttle then the launch from Weeki Wachee State Park. The take out point for today was Rogers Park.
Laughter could be heard on the river today from the start of the trip right up to the end. The river was crowded with kayaks and canoes that were making their way around corners with swift running water. Many of the kayaks and canoes did not make corners without overturning or becoming tangled in tree branches. The reaction of the paddlers that had overturned was another reason to laugh. Every one was up-righted and untangles without any injuries. The sun was hot so we took many swim stops along the journey. We reached the end of the trip and loaded our boats. Most everyone went to eat at The Bayport Inn better know to us as Bev's biker bar...Sandie
